Adding a PDF opening password
Upload a PDF and choose a password to produce an encrypted PDF using the server's PDF library.
Output behavior and limits
Losing the password can prevent you from opening the result. Upload processing occurs on the server; encryption of the result does not make the original upload local.
Open the download in another PDF reader and confirm it prompts for the intended password. Store the password separately and keep a recoverable original.
Before replacing your original
- This operation uploads to the processing server. Clear results after downloading; deletion requests can fail and scheduled cleanup depends on the server running.
