HSQ Tools is developed and maintained by HSQ Solutions. No user account is required. File handling depends on the operation; browser processing and server processing have different data flows.
Browser processing
Text, JSON, developer utilities, calculators, cropping, the image editor and background removal process input in your browser. Their processing does not upload your input to our conversion server. Background removal downloads model assets; browser memory, local storage permissions and device resources can affect operation. Loading the website can still involve hosting requests and configured analytics.
Server processing and temporary files
Image conversion, resizing, compression and PDF operations upload input to the processing server. Temporary input and output handling varies by operation. Image conversion attempts to remove its temporary source file after processing. Results remain temporarily downloadable. Clearing results or leaving a workspace requests deletion, but interrupted requests or cleanup errors can leave files behind.
While running, the server checks hourly for temporary files whose modification time is more than 24 hours old and attempts to remove them. This is a cleanup mechanism, not a guaranteed deletion deadline. Server downtime and filesystem errors can delay removal. Hosting logs, backups and infrastructure retention are not controlled by that temporary-file task. Do not upload material if your rules require a verified retention guarantee.
External services
The keyword suggestion tool sends seed terms to our server and external suggestion services. Avoid personal or confidential terms. HTML to PDF can fetch the public URL you provide from the server; the destination receives that request. Conversion features can depend on installed server libraries and external resources where the operation requires them. Company and social-profile links take you to platforms with their own policies.
Feedback and local storage
Submitted feedback includes the tool name, rating, optional comment and page path. It is sent through our feedback endpoint and stored by the backend with a timestamp, browser user-agent and a derived IP identifier used for operational purposes. A browser local-storage entry remembers a successful rating for up to 30 days; it is not a public vote count. Feedback is separate from temporary conversion files, and the 24-hour file cleanup does not delete it. Do not include sensitive data in comments.
Analytics and technical logs
Google Analytics loads when a measurement ID is configured. Page views and tool-completion events can then be recorded. Completion events contain the tool and action, rather than uploaded file contents. Google and hosting services may process technical information such as IP address, device information, request time and cookies according to their settings. Exact hosting log retention is not specified in this project.
Advertising and cookies
Advertising is disabled by default in this version. If advertising is enabled, HSQ Tools may use Google AdSense, which may use cookies or similar storage to select and measure ads. Uploaded files are not supplied to AdSense by our tools. Analytics may also use cookies when configured. Browser controls can restrict cookies and local storage.
This project does not implement a consent-management platform. Enabling tracking or advertising requires the operator to configure the choices and consent handling required for the audiences served. Using the site is not presented as automatic consent to optional tracking. See Google’s explanation of partner-site data use.
Children and policy updates
The service is not intended to collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us with enough information to locate the submission. This policy may change when features or processing practices change; the review date above identifies the current revision.
