Checking JSON syntax
The JSON validator online reports whether JSON.parse accepts the pasted text. It distinguishes syntax errors from a successfully parsed payload before you format or send the data.
- Step 1
Use the workspace
Paste the full JSON payload and run validation. A successful syntax result still requires a separate check against your application’s schema.
Output behavior and limits
It does not check required API fields, types, or business rules. A valid JSON value can still be rejected by the application receiving it.
For example, {"age":"banana"} is valid JSON but unsuitable for an API requiring a numeric age. Check that API’s schema separately after syntax validation succeeds.
